📣 Clearer sport communication
A recurring parent question has been “why don’t we know what’s happening with sport?” We’ve worked with the school to improve this — with a focus on more regular, consistent updates through Sportivo: better visibility of fixtures and clearer parent communication.
🎉 Building the gees
Our role goes beyond logistics. We help grow a stronger culture around Cannons sport — encouraging parents to attend, supporting teams, celebrating achievements and creating traditions that build real school pride.
A first: the Oudtshoorn tour
In 2026, Cannons Creek held its first High School sports tour and bootcamp in Oudtshoorn — and some parents were there to support from the sidelines.
The tour showed the best of Cannons sport — team camaraderie, parent support, learner connection and real school pride. It’s a strong example of the cultural value of sport beyond simply winning games.
Exactly the kind of tradition we want to see grow year on year.
